Google search the new pope and read 3 different articles. Take notes on what you learn and find interesting. After you have read 3 different articles, go on to you blog and introduce the pope to your blog followers in your own words. The blog should be 2-3 paragraphs and discuss things about his past and what the hope is for the future as the leader of the Catholic Church.

Animated Movie Project
Create a short animated conversation between a historical figure and someone living in present day Wisconsin. Have the figures talk about things like, the weather, things they do for entertainment, favorite foods and what they do for work. Feel free to be creative, but make sure each character is properly introduced!

Choose one of the great states of these United States of America, and find the following information.
1. What is the state capital?
2. Where is your state located in the Country? (Midwest, West Coast, East Coast, Rocky Mountains, North East, South)
3. Find 3 symbols that represent your state, and at least one detail about each symbol. (Why is it interesting?)
4. Find one historical event that was important to your state. (What was the event, why was it important?)
5. Find one attraction that brings people into the state. (Theme parks, monuments, national parks?)
6. Write one paragraph introducing your state and explaining why it is an awesome place!
Save your document to the G: drive and title the file with your state's name.
